LOCATION

BP Marine Shipyard is about 3 hours southeast of BANGKOK (Thailand) and 2.5 hours from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). The local town of LAEM MAE PHIM is a small resort community with beautiful beaches and the lovely island of Koh Samet just offshore. There are Novotel and Marriott beach side resorts nearby to ensure your comfort and relaxation while visiting your new build at the shipyard.
BP Marine's new shipyard in Klaeng, which is 2 years old and still expanding, covers about 22,000 square meters, with upgraded facilities and capacity from the company's continuing operation near Pattaya.

The shipyard has ISO 9001 certification for repair, construction and design, and welders are Lloyds Certified.
Main construction takes place in two large buildings which measure 40 by 20 meters and 60 by 30 meters, with a 500-ton railway used for launching.
Long Range Marine has its own woodwork and finish shop with all new tools and machinery. The key departments of Carpentry, Electrical and Systems are managed and staffed by our yacht experienced western managers. Our Naval Architecture and Electrical Engineering is U.S. or Australia based, and most of our systems and components are from America. Paint and Fairing is handled by an experienced yacht finish company based in the UK and Thailand.
If you are considering a yard to build an existing or new design, please visit us in Thailand and see our first-class operation. We’ll be glad to pick you up at the airport.

Hope to see you in the “Land of Smiles”,

Joe Johnson
President, Long Range Marine
